Gentle movements for recovery – class 2: This class is specially meant for people who are looking forward to recovering from an infection or a disease. Take this first class slowly with the consent of your doctor. Practice without strain; be gentle with yourself. Practice this class every day until you feel strong enough to move to the next class.
About the teacher: Viji Vasu learnt yoga under the well-known Shri T K V Desikachar, (son and direct disciple of Shri T. Krishnamacharya), at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai, where she was a Senior Yoga Consultant for many years. Viji has been the Founder and Director of Academics at Yoga Raksanam and recently retired. She is a Heartfulness practitioner and a Heartfulness Meditation trainer. She continues to train trainers with Heartfulness and currently takes live sessions for patients hospitalised for Covid.

“YOGA for Unity and Well-being – 100-day towards IDY 2021” is a
comprehensive Yoga program launched on 14th of March
with contribution & collaborations from AYUSH, UN (Information Center) SVYASA,
Patanjali, AUI (Associations of Indian Universities), with Shri Ram
The program runs for 100 days prior to the International Day of Yoga 2021
(IDY). On the 21st of June 2021, we will be celebrating IDY in a big way
for national and international guests and the 100 days.
