Morning Yoga Flow
Welcome to this morning yoga flow. This is a full body practice intended to give you energy for the day ahead. So, we’ll be moving slow at times, fast to others to give you a really well-rounded practice. And there will be modifications to make some of the more challenging poses more accessible.
In this practice we will:
Start with a breath work and a wrist warm up
Warm up the spine with: barrel rolls & cat cow
Warm up the lower body with: a gentle hamstring stretch on both sides
Pick up the pace with: down dog leg pedals, spinal waves
Move into our 1st sequence: modified side plank, low lunge, pyramid pose variation, high lunge spinal waves
Move into our 2nd sequence: 3 leg down dog, pigeon pose, seated hamstring stretch, warrior 3
Warm down with a locust pose sequence, plenty of time in Childs pose, and a little breath work to end.
